Mr

This program was awesome at first but now when I type a message and try to send it, it will only paste part of the message

Does What It Says...

This app is cool! It does exactly what it says...you can compose and reply to emails with the landscape keyboard (which is crazy to think apple did not add this option already). Well worth $0.99!! Did not give it 5 stars because i wnat to see what this "super secret" feature is going to be with the new update. I cant lie...I was sold just on that teaser alone. I hope the SMS option will be added very soon!!

Should be built in

Nice app but I hate that you have to keep switching back and forth between it and mail. This really should be built into the iPhone anyway.

Very Cool App!

This is a must have App for those of you with fat fingers like me. I cant wait for the SMS in the future.

Edit forward

I want to edit forwarded text, ie the body of text youre forwarding. Ive been trying to find a way to edit Google Docs by emailing myself a doc from my desktop, then starting a forward on my ipod touch, editing the forward, then sending the revised forward to GDocs. Please help.

Does what the iPhone cannot do!!! UPDATED

****UPDATE**** This application is wonderful and only continues to get better. However, I am using an iPhone 3G and there seems to be a bug. No amount of restarting, restoring, or powering off and then on fixes it. When I write a new message using ToughType I tried out the subject line for the first time. I completed my message and hit the icon that would normally send the text to an email. This did not happen. I tried a few times and then opted to remove the subject line. It suddenly worked. I tried again where I was replying to an e-mail. I changed the subject line and again faced with the icon that should send the message to e-mail but it doesnt. No warning or error, just doesnt happen. I believe there is a bug there somewhere. A bug I can live with all the same, but a bug. Honestly, this program rocks enough for me to actually not care about the silly subject line. **** old review **** Interesting that we must pay for a feature that one would think is something Apple would have just included. However, if I have to pay for it then I want functionality and TouchType is as functional as it comes. Yes, you can pay more for the three other apps that do this and get one or two other gimmicky features, but this is simple, easy to use, and easy on the OS as a whole, and just works. I think my only request for a possible update would be to completely erase all text at once. This is a function on another landscape e-mail application and it seemed like it would be nice to have. For those confused about the app (developers website seems to be halfway down) this app is intended to be launched, you write the body of your e-mail in TouchType, then hit "send to mail" using the standard "forward" button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. It then launches mail where you type in your recipient’s e-mail address and the subject and hit send. Its very easy and very fast.

its ok but...

I really dont like having to move from one program to another and now that 3.0 has a landscape keyboard... and part of the reason I purchased this was because the description said I could have different signatures for emails...but once I got in, no way to do that. Big disappointment.

Crash on larger messages

The reason you would use this program is for longer emails, usually more important communication that you are copying to several recipients. You want an email of this importance to be spell checked. One problem here. The program crashes everytime you try to check even a medium size email. If the program only works on quick informal communication, whats the point? On small informal emails a writer usually abbrieviates heavily and spelling is not critical. If you want 5 stars make longer messages work in your program. This is not a memory issue with iphone as I am using a 32G 3G S. This is a problem with your software.

The Best

Dont hesitate. This app is amazing. Fixed one of my huge pet peeves.

Dont work

There is a bug in this ap, it dont work in brazilian portuguese. I sent 3 e-mails and nothing changed. Lost money in this ap!

Responding in landscape mode

Hey~ I just downloaded this app. Contrary to one of the other reviews, one CAN respond in landscape mode (hit the little "i" button in the application for directions) :) Seems pretty easy to use. I have sent and responded to an email in landscape mode.

BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!

I have used just about all of the apps avaliable for email editing/spell checking. Would have to say that this app is by far the most superior app of them all. Very user friendly and has an instructional video for those who may be worried about functionality. Does all the major functions such as spell check, reply, copy/past, and much more. If I could give it more then 5 stars I would. Thanks you to the app developers for finally listening to the people that actually use these apps. Feels good to be heard.

Great

Nice layout. Does exactly what it says it does.

Crashes on larger emails

As others have said before me, this app crashes every time I try to spell check anything larger than a single paragraph. I tried multiple times with different emails and saved repeatedly but still lost some or all of my work when I tried to spell check. This is so frustrating! They need to fix this app!

Horible app

Such a waist of money dont buy it

Its ok

I wish There was a fully intergrated application. This one is awkward to work outside of live email

5 stars! Now where is the Text App to do the same thing.

Ive been waiting for this one, and kind of pi**ed Apple did not include it. The texting App like this would be even more useful. Please someone make it for me.

Yes it works, but for the cheerleaders who promote this app, they forget to tell u, not in the way m

It works !!!! Yahooooo! No one is arguing that. What you people should know before you buy it is this. 1) If you are like me with your iPhone or itouch, and like me you are not the best speller. You have a problem, especially now that you can copy and paste. Heres why, remember your like me. Lets say your checking your facebook, or fill in the blank, and oh ha ha I want to respond to that message. Well on your iPhone/itouch Facebook doesnt offer a spell check,....??? But then you remember you have this cool app that does spell check for you ! Yah Alright. Wait but now Im gonna lose all this, and have to log on to that app retype, ( hope I can remember how I worded all those witty comments. Crap then once its spell checked Ill have to take a snap shot of the screen and no cause Ill have to log on and off facebook to check and make sure I spelled it all correctly. Im just gonna have to write it down. OK now before copy and paste anything outside your email was like this. Your email though was still a problem unless you got used to remembering to forward the emails you wanted to respond to, to touchtype and write your response from there. Why? Because if you forgot, or it didnt seem important at the moment that everything be spelled correctly in that response you would begin to respond from your email, and when it either became important that things were spelled right for whatever reason or you remembered you had no spell check, go ahead and save and forward your response to touchtype, the second you hit spell check it crashes, everytime! In fact if you type more than about 5 words depending on length and more than one word is wrong it will crash. Basically you must type your response in the app and everytime you spell a word you think may be wrong youll now know. However the same problem now exists with all your other apps now that you can copy and paste I found myself often copying, saving and pasteing into touchtype. Again though the second you hit spell check it crashs, not most of the time or a lot, everytime! Now I can assure you that this app does nothing else special. So what good is a spell check app, that crashes everytime you try to spell check. So if you think you will respond to every facebook, Twitter, yahoo, etc. By logging out and into touchtype, writeing your response, copying it, logging back on to whatever and pasteing it this app will work for you. Not in a way that is normal but it will get the job done. As for if you are a person who doesnt use any of those apps, just email, you must remember that every email you want to respond to you must forward to touchtype and do it from there, and yes you can. Just dont plan on using it for a back up spell check once you have already typed something somewhere else. I did not type this in touchtype so I apologise about any spelling errors.

This app is not working correctly

I just installed this app! First thing I did was cut and paste a txt I was sending into the body to spell check. You c, this txt i was sending is the reason I bought the app in the first place. I press spell.....app shuts down, goes back to hm screen.... Happened three times in a row. There is a good side though, now this company has the oppurtunity to honor their return policy and give me my money back, showing they arent complete dbags.

Crashes with large files

This app crashes if I try to spell check several lines of text.
